DVD ARTWORK MOCK UPS DUE BY SUNDAY JULY 21st  – Format Template is available here

EDITOR SUBMISSIONS ARE ONGOING

The Video Game Years has surpassed its goal through Indiegogo! We can’t ever thank you enough. But while we’re working on thanking you, we’re now going to be busy as %^$#!! This includes getting back into the swing of production with the goal of not only continuing to make the show but making it more often and better than ever before (lofty I know).

TVGY production is already made up of a team of great editors that are all more than likely to stay on board, but we may need even more editors to help get this going at a steady clip. If you are interested in possibly editing on The Video Game Years, please send examples of your work (or a demo reel if you have it) to johnd@retrowaretv.com. In the subject heading, put something like The Video Game Years Editing Opportunity.

If this is your setup, you win. It's better than ours!

ALSO, along with our fundraiser allowing us to keep making the show, we now have to churn out those perks we promised as well!! This includes our Volume 1 DVD (1977-1979) as well as stickers and a t-shirt. We already have ideas and some work done for these items but since the fans kept it going, we’d love your submissions for DVD artwork, stickers, even t-shirts (though we may just be making a logo-based shirt). We will give anyone’s work full credit and promotion if it gets used.  Just so you know, the DVD will likely be a digipak which means there will be a front, back as well as two inside panels.  But things may change, eh, who knows.  So much stuff to organize!  Still, send your stuff to johnd@retrowaretv.com

Not the real DVD but hey, it's creative (thanks Laserfrog)

Anyhow, thanks again to everyone who donated or simply shared the campaign link with others.  It means so much to us.  This definitely validated the show and made us believe it was something worth continuing.

Thanks again everyone and if you have any questions or comments, either email johnd@retrowaretv.com or leave some comments below.
