Yeah, Space Invaders went long but that’s the biggest thing of the year and it will be the longest segment of the whole episode – and hell, it’s hard to cut stuff

The Space Invaders segment was cool. I discovered the 2600 about fourteen years ago and to this day Space Invaders is still my favorite game on the system.

Finaly i can stop playing pong and move onto something else………. but is it a requierment to have your uncle present to save the earth from invaders that just so happen to come from space? If so how do i avoid this
but great vid guys, really looking forward to the next instalments for 1978 (or as i call it “Herx – the sperm years”………. it’ll catch on soon).

I was born in ’78 but I didn’t play video games till about 3 years later or so. Space Invaders for the VCS/2600 was the first game I played possibly.
