The Game Chasers: Episode 6-Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gamester

On the road again, Billy and Jay are on their way to Round Rock to hook up with fellow youtuber Gamester81. Will their combined sexiness be too much for Game Over Games handle? On the way there the dynamic duo find out that their knowledge of video games is trumped only by their vast knowledge of geology

Nice grab on the SMS lot, have fun with that. I have a Tomy Blip it is an odd little handheld since it emulates a video game but is actually more mechanical in nature.

Fun episode, Gamester seems like a cool guy to hang out with. So I gather Gamefellas sucked beyond the alien attack and Gamester’s transformation into a car? Otherwise nice finds, especially the master system, not a bad deal I’d say. And free E.T.=win, I also try to pick that game up when I can find it for a dollar or free :P

Your series has inspired me to give another chance to the local flea market over here this morning (got there close to the opening to make sure “normal” sellers weren’t cleaned out)… Sadly, it seems my best option for buying games is still buying them online, since the people at the flea market are crazy, it’s like they’re ALL resellers… selling common game boy games for 15$ (and no way to deal with them either), or trying to rip-off kids saying that Final Fantasy Dissidia is a rare game (lol) and trying to sell it for twice the retail price… So I came out of it with nothing.
I found a flea market a bit over 2 hours away I may want to try out, but it’s apparently the biggest flea market in Canada, so it’s probably swamped with resellers… I don’t know if I should try it out man, the trip this morning at the local flea market was rather disheartening.

It’s ok man.  There are going to be lots of times where you get disappointed with stuff like this, but when it works in your favor it is totally worth it. :-)   For example, I always check our local Goodwill and get disappointed every time.  A month ago, though, they had a Sega Genesis with 12 games (10 complete in Box) for $30, and a TurboGrafx 16 with 8 games for $60. It was a good day.

I am so glad that we have inspired you. Just don’t overpay….let those resellers know that they have to be fair or they won’t see the green. Me and Jay see it all the time, the people prey on those who don’t know any better. One guy at a flea market was selling  “factory sealed” games that where clearly resealed……and don’t get me started on the guy who was charging 15 bucks for mario/duck hunt

Another good episode guys! Gamester does seem like a good guy. I watch his videos regularly. And yeah, those drawing were hilarious! XD

From everyone I know, I hear nothing but how nice @Gamester81 is – and this is yet another awesome episode of Game Chasers — now I want to complete my Master System: the 3D glasses, the phaser, and the damn stupid left handed joystick (and trackball).

Good stuff! As I’ve said on the site before, I’ve recently become a big fan of the Master System and considering how hard they are to find you got a pretty good deal. Can’t wait for the next episode!

The show is very slickly produced and I’m enjoying the running “Shaq-Fu” joke…
