primero? i cant help it. its like ocd over here
Love your stuff guys, keep it up.
I like this type of show because, while I’m a collector myself, there really aren’t any flea markets around here (well, there are 2, but both have a reseller in them so it makes it next to useless to go there), the one game store that actually has older games overprices them even more than resellers, so I do all my game shopping online. So, to me, it’s really nice to see what the “thrill of the hunt” is like, since I’ve never really experienced it myself.
Can’t wait to see more!
Guess I need to go buy a Tigger suit.
Awesome finds guys. You need to check out Gamers out here in Nebraska! Some of the games 8-bit Eric bought are like 95 cents here! (cough, Capt. Skyhawk)
The banter between you guys is getting worse. I guess I am done. I gave you guys four chances and it only continued to get worse. Great production quality, but shitty personalities. You guys are making collectors look like douches…
luckily for us you are in the minority (very small minority) but thanks for giving us 4 chances…..although there are only 3 episodes up
There are four on YouTube.
That’s a bit rough for a really fun show — great production, likeable people, and we get to ride along on a video game hunt. What’s better than that?
What’s better than that? How about a show with less toilet humor and cursing.
So basically you’re complaining because you’re a wuss? The cursing is incredibly mild, it’s how most people talk on a day-to-day basis.
YOU are the one sounding like a douche right now. Whiney. And why are you so concerned with how they make collectors look? You sound insecure about yourself.
Love the show!
Why am I concerned? Because I care about my hobby and being in Texas, I have to deal with the wake people like these guys leave behind. I think this show is really low-brow for Retroware and I hate seeing it here.
I can actually send you a long list of the stores whos owners have emailed me saying they love the show and want us to come back or stop by for the first time. I can also send you a long list of the people who have emailed me saying that after watching the show they have got into retro gaming. I’m sorry you dislike the show and that you don’t get it (we make fun of ourselves more than anyone else), but our “wake” as you put it, has inspired many to get into retro gaming, and that makes me happy
That is great. I would love to have a copy of the list so I know which stores to stay out of. I am sure all those people who emailed you would love to know that you are willing to send out their personal email addresses simply to defend your ego.
Look man, I get where you’re coming from, but your reply have been trollish. I’ve never been one to say this, but either get more civilized, or get out. Your choice.
I can attest to that
personally. After watching Game Chasers (and Pat’s Flea Market
Madness), I’ve actually started visiting my own local flea markets
& expanding my collection. So for that (and their entertainment
value), I thank them.
My wife… doesn’t so much.
haha yeah, we all need to band together and save these games from sitting around the flea markets across the country just getting sun damage
Ok Yosemite you have made your point. I’m giving a little warning here to stop. You are bordering on trolling behavior here going to every post and video related to The Game Chasers and leaving rude comments.
Aww man, K-Dub. Do not tell me you are defending these guys too…
I am defending this site and yes them in conjunction. I’d rather not have to flex my admin muscle on the first full day so just let the conversation die. You’ve stated you opinion all over and it is enough now. I think it is a very fun show and agreed with Lance when he asked my opinion about adding them. If you feel there is too much toilet humor I can understand that but you’ve gone far and beyond just adding some constructive criticism and have mostly just been very rude. You may not like having their style of humor you have seen in these three videos on this site, well I don’t like the behavior you have shown in the last day on this site.
Well, at the very least the show creates an emotional response! I think The Game Chasers is incredibly well edited, well executed and fun to watch for the characters and the journey. They’re creating a narrative around looking for old games with some hints and tidbits to scoring good prices. They are shedding light on our hobby in a really approachable show format, there isn’t anything wrong with that. And there have only been 4 episodes so far (3 posted here) – this is one damn good show for a group of guys who just started. Retroware TV has a bunch of shows that tailor to many aspects of retro gaming, this fits right in.
Thank you, John. We appreciate the honor of being on this site. We are still tweaking the show all the time so what you see on these episodes represent a learning curve
I liked this show as well. I live in Shreveport, La and I tend to go over to Texas a lot to look for games because there is virtually no where around here to find anything good. Are you guys going to do a Dallas or east Texas episode?
I would not count that out…we have to go in that direction at some point.
Thanks for watching!
Heh. Looks like you guys underestimated Jay’s power. You tried to defeat him, and only made him stronger. Karma’s a bitch. XD Also, gotta give props to Jay, from you guys show, he really does seem to have some kind of magic. He must be a wizard!
You guys really do have amazing editing/production quality for so few episodes; I was very impressed with that from the start. Your personalities also work really well together. You’re at odds just enough and having fun together just enough to make it really satisfying to see you guys interact. It also reminds me a bit of me and my friends at times.
Just wanted to say again that I enjoy the show…yes it has a somewhat different sense of humor than some of the other shows on RWTV but is that a bad thing? Variety is always good…and like I say to people who gripe about violent/offensive movie and TV content: If you don’t enjoy it…don’t watch it!
Great show guys!
Thanks Chris, unfortunately we can’t please everyone and if we took out our banter and humor people would say it was boring. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when someone wants to troll instead of offering constructive criticism then I think it kind of reflects on them and the type of person they are more than anything. Oh well, no matter what you do in life there is always someone that is going to complain about something lol.
Awesome, I stumbled across this show a week or so ago on youtube, I’ve no idea how, and I’m glad I can now just come to Retrowaretv to check any updates. Hoping for a new episode soon. I like the production and personalities, just comes across really well.
To the Yosemite79 guy. If you don’t like it, why watch? Peronsally I like the banter between the guys, makes it seem like I can relate to it more and the guys seems likes themselves rather than some scripted rubbish some people use. This is how a lot of guys talk when their in a group. We like to cuss, make sex jokes and talk about boobs……sorry but I like it that way
Collectors “rescuing” old games? How about people who ACTUALLY PLAY the games rescue the games from YOU instead of the games being locked away on a shelf in your trophy room to never be touched again except for display? Fuck.
How do you know they don’t play the games?
which way do you hold a controller again? I keep forgetting
Another great show, I hope that you can go to Laredo texas and show if there is any good place to buy retro games, I been there and couldn’t find much, but what I was able to find had good prizes
Thank you, I’m glad you like it
Hi i’m from England and love the show.
@Yosemite79 chill out man.
Everyone likes sex right?
Great Episode. Bitches!
