When you think of Super Mario Bros. a dance routine isn’t the first thing you think of; well unless you have fond memories of the Super Mario Super Show. But even with memories of that goofy TV show intro a Super Mario swing routine is certainly not on your radar. But, Morgan Day and Emily Wigger did just that for the 2011 Camp Hollywood National Jitterbug Championship.
The routine is a pure love letter to the old days of Mario and Luigi’s fame with rearranged songs from the classic Super Mario Bros. games as well as the Super Mario Super Show (which the routine starts off with).
It isn’t the most exciting thing in the world but definitely worth checking out. Just turn the volume down, the camera is right behind some screaming audience members and it can get a little ear piercing at full volume.
