Reviewing one game can be a challenge and making a Top (Insert Number Here) list can be difficult for a group of people to decide on, but picking out 100 games on the NES and Famicom, reviewing them and putting them in any kind of order is one heck of a daunting task. But RDub Satoshi Matrix has done just that on his blog.

Broken down into 9 parts and then a final top 10, Satoshi goes through each game and tells you the important information up front (such as release date, developer, and current market price), why you should play it and even some fun facts at the end. Of course you get to see some nice pictures as well to fill the whole thing out!

So if you have been wondering what 100 games you might want to get for your NES/Famicom collection, grab a snack, sit back and get ready to do some reading. A calculator might also be useful to know what your finances will look like after you hit eBay to grab all of these games. If you don’t have a Famicom or a converter make sure you add that to the tally as some of these games are only for the Famicom, which is not surprising.

Below is each part of the countdown and above is a picture summary of 100-11. The picture displays each game and an icon if it is system specific only. (Famicom, NES or Famicom Disk)
