Hey Everyone!

You may notice that RetrowareTV.com currently looks, well, a bit “Retro.” You can chalk that up to a late April Fools joke or a protest of CISPA or just a way for us to be really “meta” and deciding that our retro game site should make you nostalgic for the way it used to look way back in the Summer of 2012.

Well, in reality, our site’s host had a major issue involving the server, redundant drives, special sauce, and the hamster that runs on the wheel that keeps Roo’s hair so well coiffed and Pat’s eyes so dreamy.  Basically if it’s not in cartridge form, I just don’t get it.  It gets more technical than this, but let’s just say it was a big deal. Currently the host guys are doing some” recovery” which could take a day or two. In the meantime, we’ll be getting things updated here in”Past Land” so that the site is the newest kind of retro. Updated Retro!

Please bear with us as we work through these things and get you back to the future.  You may notice that your logins might not work (if you were registered) and you may notice other wonderful things that don’t make sense. It’s like finding glitches and bugs in an old game. RetrowareTV.com is currently like the Minus World you find at the end of SMB World 1-2. “Is it supposed to be there?! I don’t know! What the hell is this crap? Something isn’t right! There is no end! What is that dash doing there? I can’t breathe!!”

But thanks again for dealing with our fun mess as we work it all out. It’s actually lucky this happened when it did because we we’re literally an hour away from a making very big announcement for us here at Retroware when the site went down. If the site had gone down after the announcement, that would have really sucked. So look! Old school glitches and a big cliffhanger! A Winner Is You!

So stay tuned everybody. This is only a test. If this had been a real emergency, we would have started to look like a modern gaming site and a giant Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2K15 banner or something would have shown up.
