      What makes them so amazing?  The constant and unneeded swearing?  The lame jokes?  The crappy wrestling references?  The burping and farting?  I miss the old RWTV where all the shows taught me something about games and their history.  Instead we get the Game Chasers.  Looks like RWTV is going the way of TLC.  What next Video Game Store Wars?  I would rather sit and listen to HVGN or Roo talk about the history of a specific game than have to hear a few “Bros” spit out douchey comments about whatever town, flea market, or game store they are in.

        The game chasers are actually very fun to watch if you give them a chance. Of course, there’s not accounting for taste but I don’t think they seem very different than any group of regular guys out on the road having fun. I’ve said before that at first I found their humor sophomoric but after watching about 4 videos I was really just able to lay back and truly enjoy the show.

        Of course you’re entitled to your opinion but the Gamechasers are now one of my favorite shows on RWTV and I’ll continue watching their episodes as they come out.

          I think they have a great show idea, I just do not like the banter.  I think if they tried to be less funny or rude they would have an awesome show.  Also, take a little time to tell us why you think the game you just bought is worth the price that it is and why you wanted this game for your collection…

            I can somewhat agree about the banter but I don’t think that it’s “forced” at the very least. I think that’s just the way they are and so I can respect that.  Again, this is all just opinions so there’s nothing definitive to say here but it simply doesn’t bother me anymore. I think that’s just the way these guys are.

            I do agree, however, that it could be beneficial for them to perhaps in the future take more time to explain why the games were so special to them or important to their collection. It would even be cool to see them set “goals” for themselves before going out chasing. Highlighting games that are missing from the collection and what they would be willing to pay to obtain them. That would be lots of fun.

    Not done watching it, but on the tail end of the 1st video, that was Video Masters TV’s John Gibson’s head peeping in the camera from the front row, wasn’t it? :D

      Yep, I was there, and I think I can be seen in Part 3 asking a question. Not my best question, considering I used all the “good” ones for the interview I did with John and Lance the day before.

          Well, I just put up 2 videos in the last few days. Full episodes from MAGFest. I was going to try to squeeze in a regular episode for January, but I’m not going to have enough time. So February, we’ll be back, hopefully with some new faces.

    Apparently RWTV is all about the Game Chasers now?!?  What about those who helped make it the site it is today like HVGN?  It is like you guys shoved him off to the side so you could let the Game Chasers run the panel.  They are really bringing down this site and I cannot believe how much control you are letting them have…

      Take your tin foil hat off… no single person ran the panel. And that was the only seat available since Derek had to make another event so he showed up a little later than the others.

        Thanks for clearing that up Pat!  I still feel like the panel was more centered around the Game Chasers as opposed to the other quality shows, could just be editing though.  /tinfoilhatoff

          Hi this is John D – I want to make one thing clear.  No one show or person makes this site.  While this is our first time posting a video showing our panel, it was not our first panel at MAGFest.  We wanted to focus on the new guys at this time a little bit more because we want to get them in the limelight where they haven’t been before.  Also, almost everyone you see in the panel had been in different panels previous to this one (except Billy, Jay, Eric, Lance and I).  In fact, Derek had his very own HVGN panel with him and Calvin and because of overlap, we didn’t focus on him as much in this one.  If The Game Chasers had their own panel, we’d probably focus less on them as well.  We had a very strict timeline in order to make the schedule work.  We had some focus on Q&A with new guys, premiere of the app, premiere of the Video Game Years, the Smash Bros game vs Blistered Thumbs, and then Q&A all in 90 min.  We could have sat there and just done Q&A but we wanted to have a very professional presentation because that’s what we’re all about.  And while The Game Chasers and The Video Game Years are more “TLC,” you may notice that all our other shows are still here!  We’re not changing formats, we’re adding other quality shows of a different style or genre.  But one thing I love is the visceral reaction that shows like TGC and TCGY gets.  It’s the reality format that pisses people off but then there are others that realize that the format can be utilized to make an entertaining show if it involves a topic you like.  But honestly, you may not appreciate our next show, Retroware TV Cake Boss.  I’m not joking.  We’re doing baking next.  And we’re getting rid of everything else to make room for the flour and eggs.

    If you don’t like the way game chasin go, don’t watch it. TGC keepin it real, only one way game chasin go, and TGC intend to do it that way.
