From Pixels to Plastic: Mega Man Zero Model

hey dan, i liked this video. the figure looks spot-on, possibly even moreso than the original series ones (the zero series art already had that “plastic” feeling to it, sort of).

however, i’d like to suggest you something really simple to do with the blemishes on that figure: i’m an amateur modeler, myself, and the simplest thing you could do is use an xacto knife to slice the bulk of the leftover plastic, and 2000 grit sandpaper (found at any miniature model shop) on the remaining part. it looks good enough even without painting, it’s easy to do and you’ll love the result; besides, it’s the least you could do if companies send you their products to show off — using nail clippers on it just isn’t all that professional, you might convene. (just be careful with clear/glossy plastic, its usually harder to manipulate and more scratch-prone.)
