       Thanks Dany!

The music at the end is incredibly loud. Other than  that, great review.

    • http://twitter.com/PixelDan Dan Eardley

Thanks! I fixed the music at the end and am uploading the corrected video now, so that should take care of the issue. :-)

you have mastered the art of recording and lighting these toys for the video – fantastic man

    • http://twitter.com/PixelDan Dan Eardley

Thanks John! I’ve spent a lot of time and money getting that lighting right, heh. I’m glad it’s noticeable! And glad you enjoyed!

Wicked cool and good job not biting your fingernails – i could never do this show :-)

       LOL! Thanks!

  • SPac316

I have one of these figures. It’s the single carded version of 1991 Sonic. Won it in a contest. Thanks Substance TV. ;)
It’s similar to the comic double pack. The waist articulation is weird looking though.

    Anyway, good video as always!

    • http://twitter.com/PixelDan Dan Eardley

Yeah, I’m really not a fan of the waist cut at all. Thanks!

  • Gold_Ultima

It’s a shame that they have to have so many problems. I totally would have picked them up otherwise and I’m a pretty large Sonic fan. I’m really glad I watched this first. Thanks for the comprehensive review.

  • ShadowThePika

Yeah, cool, ignore the fact that they made figures based on modern sonic characters first, and that is why the articulation doesn’t work on the classic figures. if you take modern sonic with his elbow and knee articulation, then squash that down an inch, you lose alot of posability. Similarly, if you take modern eggman, and give him a hugeass body, he won’t work right. So my reccomendation, pick up all the generations figures for dreamcast/modern era sonic, because those actually can be posed.

  • TheFreeancer2501

I have two of the slightly larger Sonic figures in the classic design (I think they’re 5 inch) but never taken them out of the package.  I want more of these classic figures but considering the articulation issues they’ll probably meet the same fate.  All the same thanks for another excellently made video and wonderfully honest opinions.

Take fishing line and tie a loop around the jet packs. Secure the other end to shelf above. Thus the Egg Robos will be hovering.

  • D-Pad

Pantie shot at 6:09 lol…joking. I’d love to see a review over the HUGE Sonic 1991 figure that came out.  Any plans on doing that one anytime soon Dan?
