For the first episode in his new series Kevin checks out the 3D Classics series version of Urban Champion for the 3DS. Does the game stand the test of time? Even more importantly is the addition of 3D worthwhile?
Love the show! I dig that Urban Champion, a horrible NES game, became the second 3D Classic. Nintendo are some funny folks.

Yeah it is weird. The next one coming out is a shooter I had never heard of.

Third 3D Classic actually, you’re forgetting either Xevious or Excitebike.

If Urban Champion 3D had… British Voices, I think that would make this one a buyer for me. Terrible game otherwise.

Never been much for this game personally, but I’d like to see the 3D effect in action.
Cool idea for a series, by the way. Looking forward to some future episodes!

I really enjoy the concept of this as I never even knew they were remaking old NES games for the 3DS.
And for that cheap of a price, that is awesome. Really gives old game like this a second chance, for gamers that never had the chance to play them before with a bit of a modern update.
I don’t like the 3D effect from what I have played around with and testing as usually its pretty gimmicky at least to me it is. I like the more subtle 3D effect that this game has and adds a little bit to the game but does not make it where it has to be in 3D or it breaks the fun of the game.

Nice video!
Yeah, Urban Champion is a little fun in small doeses, but not one of the best games from Nintendo’s past.

I like the new show! Good stuff…and yeah, Urban Champion is not one of the greatest Nintendo games but I’m sure they’re working up to some of the more popular titles.
