Pat finally gets a new version of a rare Nintendo Power tape that he lost in his move after lots of searching and research. Time to see what was on this mysterious tape!

    Considering some people are born with missing body parts and other people will never have the money to own a video game system, maybe the outrage over the unfairness of the wrong code is a little overstated.

        I realize that, but if you make your character unsympathetic (he spent this entire episode alternating between bragging about his mammoth expensive collection and whining about two small items he had trouble obtaining, so he comes off as totally self-absorbed, materialistic, and whiny) it doesn’t help draw people into the show.  At least for me.

          Garbageface, you realize that a certain person (hint: Pat and Frank were watching him on the laptop at the beginning of this video!) has made a 7-8 year career out of getting exaggeratedly angry about silly idiosyncrasies in old video games that *gasp!* no one forces him to play, purely for comic effect to entertain people, right?

          You realize that certain comedians have made a decades long career out of comic exaggeration, right? I mean, I am pretty sure that Rodney Dangerfield got more respect than he let on and Jerry Seinfeld wasn’t quite as incredulous about “what the deal” was with airline peanuts and he may have implied.

          That’s funny. I’m an NES collector as well, and I can tell you that most of Pat’s collection was probably bought for around 5 bucks per game.  And I’ve rarely seen an NES for more then $50, but you can usually find one at a yard sale for $10 and under. Needless to say, those who you think he’s offending by showing off his hard work, probably can’t afford internet anyway, so there’s no problem. 

          And if your getting preachy about such a low percentile of people out there whom you think MiGHT be offended by said video, then you would probably be happier if there wasn’t an internet at all. 

          The RetrowareTV community deserves better then this, and I think Pat is doing a great job. Just glad he’s smart enough not to let trolls like this guy get him down.

          Good job Pat, can’t wait for the next one.

    the Konami code is famous NOW genius this is back in 1980 whatever. There was no uniform way of saying it then most people didn’t even know it existed, getting bent out of shape NOW over something as pointless as that is stupid they didn’t screw it up you’re whining over semantics.
