Surprised you didn’t use Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne for heresy. I mean, that game has you joining forces with Lucifer in order to restructure all world religion. You can’t get a whole lot more heretical than that!

And it’s a far better game than Hexen, too. (:

True. But you CAN still choose to be completely heretical in the game, and even stage an all-out assault against God! So I’d say it still counts.

Hexen is by Raven Software, not id Software who made Doom. Also, it isn’t a sequel to Heretic II as it came out before that game. In fact, Hexen II came out before Heretic II.

Well, according to other people on here the PC version is better, but I haven’t played it. Maybe the PC version will change my mind. I stand by the N64 version sucking though.

Also, did you say the N64 version? No wonder you have no idea what a good game is. That is a poor port of an incredible game. Go download a copy of Hexen, it’s freeware now and it’s one of the best games I have ever played.

Hexen 64 was my first N64 game and I hate it so much, it’s one of the worst games I’ve ever played. Maybe the PC version isn’t that bad but in N64 it was horrible

No it wasn’t. It wasn’t the best port but it’s an early FPS style game done on a console. You can’t expect much, the game was well made though.

As previous posters pointed out; you should really try Hexen on PC because it is outrageously good.
I rank it almost as highly as Doom 2.
Otherwise, really good video. Enjoyed it alot!
