Gamer Going Grey – Firepower 2000

I finally finished my first episode of the Gamer Going Grey. Thanks to all here at RetrowareTV that have been inspirations to me.

I never knew SWIV made it to the states, this came was massive on the Amiga.

This is an excellent first review. If I had one small note for you I guess it would be that the video was a little on the long side. 12-ish minutes is a long time to talk about a shoot em up. That said, I enjoyed it and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

IMO the length is great, sometimes the videos on rtv and gt are too short to eat lunch and smoke afterwards :_P

I don’t mind long videos and I’m sure it’s a personal preference thing. But i do feel like most shoot em ups are not all that deep and so maybe don’t require as much time individually. Again that could be just me. To each their own.

Great review!

I discovered this game just a couple of years ago, and now it’s easily one of my favorite SNES shooters. It’s cheap, it has a slick framerate, and it offers a lot of replay value thanks to the variety and multiple craft styles.

Excellent review. Love all the info and the touch of humor. I had no idea this game was a shoot’em up or that it had Co-op play. I’ll defenitely be keeping an eye out for this one. Hope to see another video.

This is a good game, I used to rent it in my local video store, they had few snes games and most mof them where bad but they also had this game (and B.O.B.) and I always thought it was very good, but I’ve never beat the second level and never had someone to play it with.
