This was a great video. I totally agree that Mega Man Legends is an amazing game, though you failed to mention that there's a PC version of it (that's the one I have). That version has definitely aged better, since you can have it use the full capabilities of your graphics card to render it rather than the native settings. Being able to set the controls yourself helps too.
I really want to be a part of the drive to bring back Legends 3, but I don't use Facebook. If there's some other way then I'd love to hear about it, since Capcom needs to learn that a niche fanbase is not the same thing as an unprofitable fanbase.

i liked the review, but i do think some of the editing for the video was a bit clunky and not as polished as it could have been
but good video none the less

I'm glad you like the review, but you're absolutely right camseyeview. Something weird happened when it was uploaded to Blip.TV. If you watch it now, you'll see that the clunkiness is gone. Thank you for bringing this to my attention! – Let's GET!!

No problem Spirit! You can still join the fight without a Facebook account. Just follow the instructions below and simply don't click the Facebook button in Step 3 below:
1) Click this Link http://www.capcom-unity.com/go…..room/about
2) Click Register
3) Click Facebook (If you have a Facebook, but if you don’t, don’t select Facebook because you don’t have to have one in order to register)
……4) Fill out birth date
5) Click Accept
6) Click the Green Plus Mark that will add you to the Devroom
7) Then the Box above it “Become a Servbot”
I hope that helps! – Let's GET!!

P.S. You're right that I neglected to mention the PC version. I knew of its existence, but I'm not a PC gamer and I didn't know that it looked that much better on the PC. That's good to know! If I could be bothered with the technical challenges of being a PC gamer, I totally would because the graphics are always superior. Thanks for the information!

Well, Legends on PC has pretty low specs since it was made during the Win 98 days, and is one of the few games from that time that still runs perfectly on a modern OS. Even on my low-end laptop I can get really smooth models and even some anti-aliasing. Granted textures aren't improved too much, but considering they were going for a cartoony look in the first place it isn't really noticeable.
I've heard Legends 2 also had a PC release, but I haven't seen traces of it on Amazon so it may have been Japan only.

I remember watching this video a while back and recall you discussing prices. There was someone in a local game store getting rid of a pile of games, I picked up MML for a dollar!

I am writing a book on the physics of video games, message me with an idea and I will credit you for the submission! If you are wondering, my picture is of two contra characters drawn by my fiancee.

That is an awesome deal bro! I got Mega Man 64 (a.k.a. Mega Man Legends) for like $5 at a flea market a long time ago. However, I'd much prefer the PS1 version. I try to collect all games in a series for the same console.
Example: I wanted Dead Rising 2 on PS3, but DR1 didn't come out on PS3…so I got it for 360.

Just rewatched this video…and man…I feel your pain Eric.
I recently bought the entire series…and my wallet proved it. I got all games black labeled on PS1…MML was $45, MoTB was $121, & MML2 was $118…jeez. However…I do NOT regret it. =-) I popped each in for about 10-20 minutes of gameplay to make sure the game played well & all cutscenes/voices didn't chop. And all I can say is…wow! These games have an amazing amount of charm…which is visible from the 1st 5 minutes of each! Not many games, especially modern, can say that. They all work flawlessly & as soon as I knock a few PS3 games off of my backlog I plan on beginning my journey into Mega Man Legends.
Just wanted to thank you for reacquainting me with this series. It truly is beautiful.
