Pat returns to the flea market, but can he pull the trigger on a classic console lot?
FINALLY ITS BACK! these videos r the best!
I love this shit. God bless Frank.
Glad I watched til the very end. WTF?
on Saturday I Went to a flea market, And I Got a Gameboy Advanced for 2 Bucks. And it worked!
So jealous on that Coleco lot – great find! The entire time I was watching you debate it, I was thinking, you’ll never see that again, not for that price.
Love the series! how far do you have to drive to this swap meet? there is one coming up that is an hour away… im debating if its worth it…
I love your reviews, you always have a ton of insight and do a great work with production. It’s really awesome you do work on this series just as often, it deserves it. Having both of these great lineups gives your content a lot of depth! Keep up the great work!
Hey Pat can you take me on your next flea market madness?
no, im next, he promised
That theme song is stuck in my head……. CURSE YOU PAT!!!!!
Nice finds there, Pat!
oh i have played Evolution before, but it was only the GC version. fun and quirky RPG. I need to find a copy of that game
It helps if you talk to some of the resellers and make then think you’re a reseller too.. they’ll value you as a long-term asset (as a sink for their gaming pickups) and tend not to jack up prices since they think you’re in the business. It could back-fire, but much like when some supernatural entity asks you if you’re a god, you should answer yes.
What a rip off. I got a NES for $20 at yard sale, with 10 games.
i got two unboxed calico visions, controllers, with power supplies, games ball controller, and a bunch of manuals for around $40. But I shop thrift stores, get insane deals, 1 sears atari $3, 1 regular atari $4, I’ve found maybe 3 or 4 n64s under $2 at a goodwill that charges by the pound along with a dreamcast probably $2 or $3, $1 gamegear resold it for $10. $1 gameboy 60cent gameboy pocket, 13 cents for two xbox 360 headphones resold for $10. At another goodwill found a few super nintendo’s around $3. But probably the best was a NES 2 for $4. I tend to get lucky with spare copies of n64 games as they are more common now and easy to resell. I tend to resell for other games or other video game stuff so its not like I’m really making money but I’m amazed with stuff I find sometimes.
What goodwill sells electronics by the pound? I’m in NC and have went to about 20 or so of them.
I knew Pat would grab that Colecovision, but I wasn’t aware of just how great a deal that was.
I also tend to pick up disc-only games if they’re cheap enough, so I’m glad that you were able to grab some for a decent price. I couldn’t make out what they were, but seeing that some were SEGA CD titles, I smiled.
Thanks again for sharing these.
anyone know the 8 bit music at the end?
Are you talking about the music played when Pat shows what he got and compares the swap meet prices to the internet? I’ve been wondering that myself. It’s been stuck in my head since I watched the video.
yah its a catchy beat and i haven’t heard in in any game i played… certainty want to check that game out that goes to the music. unless its Barbie and he just Rick Roll’d us. lol
Same here. To me, it sounds like end credits music, I could be wrong though. I’ve had no luck in trying to figure out what it is.
The music at the end reminds me of Wall Street Kid so it might be from that game.
That’s it!!! It’s the Intro theme to Wall Street Kid. How did I not know that, since I own the game? Thank you so much, The Male White Mage, it was starting to drive me nuts not knowing where that song was from.
Hell yeah, Wall Street Kid – recognized that immediately. Underrated game for those of us who were interested in the stock market at an early age.
I wonder what price was Megaman 64 going for. I know the entire Legends series is outrageously overpriced on Amazon and eBay. If I had $129 on me, I would be the proud owner of Megaman Legends 2.
Man, I loved the music and sound fx in Keith Courage.
Pat, on average how often do you come across TurboGrafx-16 games at flea markets?
Evolution on the DC rules. =-)
Hate you pat, I’m dying to get a decent priced colecovision set up. But I take solace in the fact that I own the pac-man board game you are looking for. ha ha!
Damn right of you to get that Coleco Vision Pat. It was a sweet deal with the games and extras.
What kind of camera do you use to film the footage for these videos? It seems to be some sort of discreet camera?
