Derek steps in to review the brand new Burger Time World Tour. How does it shape up to the classic?
thats a bummer, but i guess moneypaw could just stick to porting over import ps1 games (vangaurd bandits being the exception)
I wouldn’t go that far. They had the right idea, just made a few bad design decisions that could’ve been handled better.
no yeah that was a bit harsh, but still. i agree with his arguments towards the game though. sometimes when im playing a game with too much going on, it hurts my eyes and makes them watery
Great review Derek! Nice to have a short and sweet one after the epicness that was the Demon’s Quest episode.
I must say I enjoy World Tour, but I definitely agree with the complaints. I’m only in the second world and I already can’t count the number of times I died because I couldn’t really see what was going on.
You see, I think the problem is the concept that, rather being flat, the levels are big cylinders, that’s what causes so much stuff to happen on the screen at once in many of the levels since you not only see your part of the screen, but most everything else in the level at the same time.
I couldn’t enjoy the multiplayer in the… 1 match I played though. Maybe playing more would’ve helped, but I wasn’t having as much fun as in single player.
Overall I think Burgertime fans should check it out, they’re probably gonna enjoy some of it, but I wouldn’t suggest it to anyone else unless a demo comes out so they can try it.
Sooo informative. Definitely one of the better, concise reviews I’ve watched in a while. Derek Is on fire folks. Hope the streak lasts as long as possible, but remember they always end. Any HVGN Games you’ve been wanting to do but wanted to save for the right time, now is the time. Double down on them 10′s and 11′s when the dealers showing a 4,5 or 6. And go to Insert Coins if you are ever in Vegas. I miss LV already
Xbox 360 sucks pure ass.
Ha! Pure ass. Not cut with that baking soda shit.
Interesting review. First, I have to get this outta the way. “Giant baaaargers!” xD I’ve seen this game and was debating on getting it. I am familiar and like the old version. The old version was super hard though especially playing as a kid back then. This one looks a little more lively but the spinning and the floaty controls make me want to stick to the old version.
Odd tidbit but for some odd reason this game reminds me of Bomberman. Burgers bomb? How does that fit? I have no idea. :<
Excellent review as always! It’s sad to see this game has some of the flaws that it does, but I suppose the “Retro Evolution” thing is at least heading in the right direction.
I think that if this game is released for 3DS everyone will be blinded instantly. XD
looks more like Donkey Kong then Burger time
