Agreed, its a character. I’ve only done video editing academically (ie in school) a year ago, but its very time consuming and is a lot of hard work.

F**K this cheesedick. You are the gamer equivalent of a 'Hater' in the music scene. Your like one of those cats that dislike every video/song from a certain band/artist on Youtube BUT when a local show comes around you are the first in line to buy tickets. I think the quality and effort you guys put into this site on great much respect.

It’s so great to see Retrowaretv.com growing by leaps and bounds. With excellent shows and a variety of different reviewers and points of view, as well as so many different genres of games covered, it’s no wonder that you guys are doing so well. That’s not to mention the pinnacle of the site so far, which I believe is “The Video Game Years.”

Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing what you guys do in the future.

hrm.. each reviewer (like a pro wrestler) has there own “on camera” persona. A few good examples are AVGN and The Nostalgia Critic, i know they have to make the videos fun and entertaining but i know “off camera” they are nice and professional. It takes a lot of hard work to act, write, shoot, and edit, people make a legitimate living of this and it can lead to a great job (or a fun hobby). Hell the Gaming Historian is a Teacher and HVGN works with a production company.

Ah, okay did not know that it was a for-profit organization. My opinion of the videos on this site is unfortunately lessened with this knowledge, as they are excellent for fan videos but the acting and writing in such presentations as Pat the NES Punk jumping over a stuffed Donkey Kong doll in his hallway does not measure up to that of professional broadcast. That said, if you can make a living doing this, more power to you.

No slight on the site intended. So then no offense here but my advice “Garbageface” – a name that can only personify professional career consultation – do your research before making claims like that. And seriously, get your shit together. You have no idea the level of experience and professional background all the guys here at the site have nor do you know what constitutes an internship that appears strong to a prospective employer. You get the weight of a recommendation from a group of people with over 40 years combined within network television and media companies. And we’re not ametueur, we’re a tax paying company, chief. You don’t know what good things are exemplified to a future employer by anyone wishing to make an effort and show some self-motivated effort. And sorry, this internship doesn’t involve just playing video games. So don’t apply, Garbageface.

If you’re gonna spend some of your precious youth working for free ya might wanna pick somewhere that sounds more impressive on the resume than a site with amateur video content. If other employers have never heard of Retroware.tv they aren’t going to be that impressed by the entry on the resume… “Oh, so you spent the summer playing video games… NEXT!”

No slight on the site intended. If you wanna work for free, cool. It’s just that calling it an “internship” implies that it will help with your career and you might not want to fool yourself about that, when you could spend the same time working for free for a more prestigious company (in the eyes of corporate people who will be looking at your resume in the future).
